Abuja Model African Union (AMAU), 2021

Abuja Model African Union (AMAU) is a platform that brings together African youths to role plays or simulate what the African Union does. It formats African Union Heads of State gathering, and with a high-level committee session which delegates represent a country and write a position paper to reflect the country he or she is representing position on given issue with constructive debate and inspiring contributions as he or she functions as a diplomat and/or act as head states of delegations.

Abuja Model African Union aims to provide a platform for Africa youths to connect, interact and simulate the activities of African Union for regional integration, inclusive, sustainable peace, economic growth and development of Africa as well as build youth leadership acumen, participation in governance, human rights, community development and peace and security. The summit will also provide opportunity for African youths to engage, interact, network and facilitates dialogue amongst the youth and between the youth as well build a career in diplomacy and policies that will shape Africa.

Abuja Model African Union 2021 will be held physically and virtually (hybrid) in Abuja Nigeria from 3-4 December, 2021 and we are welcoming delegates from African continents.
